A Look at Some Recent Projects and
Activities
During the
last quarter of 2007, David Gorin & Associates has been involved
in a number of interesting activities including …

The first
ever RV Park & Campground Industry Investment Conference was
created by DGA and held October 17-19, 2007 in partnership with
Affinity Group, Inc. 140 investors, developers, park owners,
real estate professionals, lenders and others gathered for 2
days of information and networking. Plans for the 2008
conference are underway. The conference will be held in
September, 2008 in McLean, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC.
DGA completed a number of feasibility studies around the country
including studying projects on an Indian reservation in Nevada,
in a Wyoming town undergoing a boom related to energy
production, in southern Utah at the gateway to Zion National
Park, on a major lake in Tennessee, and several projects in
Florida.
DGA is engaged in consulting on the development of what is
likely to be the nation’s most exclusive RV resort. DGA has
assisted the property owner for several years and now that
zoning and permitting is close to completion, detailed planning
for the resort’s development and marketing is underway. Located
in a one of a kind spot, the resort is expected to set a new
level of luxury and exclusiveness.
DGA has acquired Holiday Cove RV Resort, Cortez, FL. The
park continues to operate as an open to the public resort as it
has begun to market RV sites to the public. The park is being
redeveloped and will go from 112 sites to 97 and will undergo a
complete modernization and renovation program.

DGA is actively advising several investment groups seeking to
develop comprehensive strategies to either acquire or construct
RV parks.

Best Parks in America continues to expand, adding Gulf Coast RV
Resort in Beaumont, Texas and Holiday Cove RV Resort to the
growing roster of Best Parks affiliates.
